OCD can be quite debilitating and exhausting

Whether your OCD intrusions are in the form of unwanted thoughts, images, urges or feelings, it's easy to get caught up in an endless cycle of obsessional thinking and compulsive behaviours.

CBT for OCD is different to generic CBT or psychotherapy and its therefore important to work with a therapist who has the knowledge & experience of working with OCD.

About me

Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT)

A CBT approach that focuses on obsessive doubt and reasoning processes in OCD.

I-CBT helps people understand how obsessional doubts are created by the imagination in the first place, through a reasoning process that disconnects them from reality.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

A behavioural CBT approach that targets compulsions and avoidance in OCD.

You are guided and supported to expose yourself to triggering situations while making a choice to not respond with a compulsive behaviour. This retrains your brain to not see the intrusions as a threat
