Specialist support to break free from OCD

OCD can be very debilitating and exhausting.

Learn to respond differently to disturbing anxiety provoking intrusions. Whether these are thoughts, images or urges, its easy to get caught up in an endless cycle of obsessional thinking and repeated compulsions.

CBT for OCD is different to generic CBT treatment and its therefore very important to work with a CBT therapist who has experience of working with OCD.

Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT)

A CBT approach that focuses on obsessive doubt and reasoning processes in OCD.

I-CBT helps people understand how obsessional doubts are created by the imagination in the first place, through a reasoning process that disconnects them from reality.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

A behavioural CBT approach that targets compulsions and avoidance in OCD.

You are guided and supported to expose yourself to triggering situations while making a choice to not respond with a compulsive behaviour. This retrains your brain to not see the intrusions as a threat
